Have you ever had the perfect holiday? Probably not. Kids get sick, washing machines go haywire, or someone burns the roast. When a loved one has dementia, the perfect holiday may seem even farther away.
Join Catherine Hammond – Attorney/Founder of Hammond Law Group and long-time caregiver for her mother with Alzheimer’s, and Kent Mathews – Social Worker at the Area Agency on Aging, for this workshop as they discuss ways to survive (and maybe even thrive!) during the holidays.
They’ll also be sharing some tips to help make things easier all year long. The holidays are about embracing relationships with people we love the most, and it’s possible to make precious new memories even when a loved one has dementia.
