“How Life Care Planning Secures Your Future”

Colorado Springs & Live Webinar Via Zoom

A workshop for all Hammond Law Group Clients, guests and general public!

It is likely that there will come a point when taking care of yourself or a loved one will be more than you can manage yourself. It’s nothing to be ashamed about. We all age. We all need help. Combine the two and we all eventually need help aging.

The problem is that most families are not aware of how to plan for and receive that care, and so they end up in crisis situations. In fact, many families only discover the need for choosing a continuing care community when they are discharged from the hospital and need a place to go. Imagine having to move with only two days’ notice. Yet that’s how care communities are often chosen with obvious, disastrous consequences.

The founder of Hammond Law Group started her practice because of this very problem. Because of early-onset Alzheimer’s, Catherine’s mother lasted only one weekend in her first care community, and then Catherine had 48 hours to find yet another new community on her own. Now, imagine after you moved once you were required to do it again in two days. Catherine wants you to avoid what she had to go through with her mother.

The fact is, you must choose a care community long before you or your loved one need it. And you can, with the right tools.

Catherine Hammond, ESQ.
Founder & CEO of Hammond Law Group

Ms. Hammond, author of the book Hope(less) -now available on Amazon-, learned firsthand the effects of failing to plan when her mother developed early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease without any planning documents in place, requiring her to endure the living probate of her mother’s estate. Through that heart-wrenching experience, she was determined to help others avoid the added devastation of a complicated and expensive legal process by obtaining a law degree and devoting her practice to estate planning and elder care.
